The coat of arms of Fiji features a shield supported on either side by two Fijian warriors, also found on the national flag. Atop the shield rests a traditional Fijian canoe, paying homage to the nation's maritime heritage and seafaring legacy. According to legend, the warriors represented are believed to be twins, with the elder brother wielding a spear while the younger one brandishes a totokia club, signifying strength and unity. Adorned at the base of the emblem is the country's motto in Fijian, "Rerevaka na kalou ka doka na Tui," meaning "Fear God and honor the King", underscoring Fiji's respect for divine guidance and allegiance to the monarchy.
