Flag of India (GIF)

The national flag of India (Hindi: भारत का ध्वज), also known as the "Tiranga," is a vibrant and distinctive design that holds deep symbolism. It features three horizontal stripes of equal width, with saffron at the top, white in the middle, and green at the bottom. In the center of the white stripe, there is a navy blue Ashoka Chakra, a 24-spoke wheel that represents the dharma (truth or righteousness) and is inspired by the Ashoka Pillar at Sarnath. The saffron color symbolizes courage and sacrifice; the white color represents peace, purity, and truth; and the green color signifies faith, chivalry, growth, and hope. This flag is a powerful embodiment of India's diverse and dynamic culture, as well as its aspiration for unity, peace, and progress.

The emblem of India, often referred to as the "State Emblem of India," features a majestic representation of the Lion Capital of Ashoka, an ancient sculpture dating back to the 3rd century BCE. The Lion Capital is mounted on a circular base and is crowned by the Dharma Chakra, or the wheel of law, flanked by a pair of Indian horses on either side. The four lions, standing back to back, symbolize courage, strength, and unity, while the wheel represents the nation's righteousness and progress. The emblem's inscription of "Satyameva Jayate (सत्यमेव जयते)" in Devanagari script, which translates to "Truth Alone Triumphs," is the nation's guiding principle, emphasizing the importance of truth and justice. This emblem is a potent symbol of India's rich heritage, cultural continuity, and its commitment to democratic ideals and moral values.

Based on these sources, I don't think these colors will be permanent. Especially the orange, the deep saffron (kesari). So I will not update immediately.
