Flag of Kyrgyzstan (GIF)

The flag of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz: Кыргызстандын туусу; Russian: Флаг Киргизии) is a red field featuring a yellow sun with 40 rays in the center. The crossed triple laths above the sun symbolize the Kyrgyz yurt, a traditional nomadic tent. The red color represents valor and bravery, embodying the spirit and resilience of the Kyrgyz people. It also alludes to the purported emblem hoisted by Manas, the national hero of Kyrgyzstan. The golden sun with 40 rays symbolizes a new day in the country, representing progress, peace, prosperity, and a bright future, while each ray signifies one of the 40 traditional tribes united by Manas to fight against the Mongols. The depiction of the yurt represents the country's nomadic heritage and underscores the importance of tradition and community in Kyrgyz culture. Collectively, the flag of Kyrgyzstan conveys the nation's rich history, cultural identity, and its commitment to progress and unity.

The emblem of Kyrgyzstan is a vivid representation of the nation's identity, values, and natural beauty. At its center, the silver falcon (Ak Shumkar) symbolizes purity of thought and the defense of the nation's lands behind it, the Issyk-Kul and the majestic peaks of the Ala-Too mountains. The golden sun rising behind the mountains, reminiscent of the sun with 40 rays on the national flag, signifies the promise of a new day and a prosperous future. The blue color surrounding the emblem reflects courage and generosity, embodying the resilience and magnanimity of the Kyrgyz people. Surrounding the central elements are cotton bolls and ears of wheat, representative of the country's flourishing agricultural sector. The inscriptions "Кыргыз" (Kyrgyz) at the top and "Республикасы" (Republic) at the bottom further solidify the nation's identity and democratic ideals. Collectively, the emblem of Kyrgyzstan encapsulates the nation's rich cultural heritage, natural splendor, and its enduring spirit of resilience and progress.

Dunno when the flag colours changed on Wikipedia but they're now using a brighter palette

Looking at the flag change history on Wikipedia it's a very unstable, frequent and imprecise change. And there is no official source. I guess it would be better to wait a bit.

Also, I think this color is more beautiful unless there is any official source that states otherwise.

Looks like it's been tweaked slightly, with the sun's rays touching the sun circle this time.
