Santa Clara fan flag (Portuguese: bandeira não oficial do C. D. Santa Clara) consists of the team's official logo and a red background derived from the team jersey. Its original logo consisted of a lion perched on a ball with the acronym S.C.F.C.. When the club later got affiliated with a powerhouse team, Benfica, they decided to use the Benfica logo on a white shield with a red border.
