Club Deportivo Huachipato, or simply Huachipato, is a football club based in Talcahuano, Chile, playing in the Chilean Primera División (2023), the highest tier of the Chilean football league system. This unofficial C.D. Huachipato flag (Spanish: bandera no oficial del C.D. Huachipato) consists of the team's official logo and a black-and-blue vertically striped background derived from the logo.
The Huachipato logo features a distinctive design that includes elements reminiscent of the logo of the Pittsburgh Steelers, an American football team, on a shield with vertical black and blue stripes in the team colors. The central emblem features three four-sided geometric shapes known as hypocycloids, colored in yellow, red, and blue, which represent the team's identity and colors. These shapes are enclosed within a round frame along with the team name. This design not only draws inspiration from the successful American sports franchise but also serves as a nod to the club's historical roots, as it was initially founded by steel mill workers in 1947. The logo thus encapsulates Huachipato's strong connection to both its industrial heritage and its sporting aspirations.
